BAMSHAD MIRLASHARI

ABOUT

Welcome to my home and craft, where I try to pay my bills with art and culture.

I was born in Sweden, raised in Akalla and have roots from Iran and Baluchistan. These geographical areas have resulted in me getting:

Discovering my love for limitless music

Possibility to step into rooms with different nationalities, cultures and traditions

Knowledge of those who benefit the most from today's political climate

Develop my intellect and patience regarding the creative process

By scrolling down, you will hear melodies from Baluchistan, witness an explosive fusion of genre-less music and finally feel the collective creation in spaces that breathe culture and inclusion.

The peak of life is now.

HARAKATT

Harakatt's journey kicked off in 2016 with the vision of acting a door opener for cross-genre music. Since its inception, Harakatt has walked through fire, water, air, earth and everything in between. During certain periods, the process has felt like an eternity and almost impossible. But after seven years, the music movement have released their first studioalbum "För vad är ord när de bara finns i luften?"

Welcome to a sound you've neither heard nor seen.

BEYN2

Beyn2 is an association and cultural platform for both individual and collective creation where different art forms meet, develop and produce under the same roof with the vision of creating a more inclusive cultural scene.

Created by Ailin, Bamshad and Ronak Mirlashari, we want to raise the value of the culture that is mainly created in the suburbs as today's cultural scene is very closed and exclusive, with limited opportunities to promote long-term and sustainable creation. With art as a tool, we want to challenge the prevailing structures in society.

Beyn2 is a place of culture, creativity and chaos.

GOLBANG

A delightful meeting point between Baluchi, Persian, Kurdish, Afghan and Swedish music traditions; Golbang creates musical magic, giving the audience the opportunity to treat themselves to one of the loveliest voices ever in a groovy interplay for peace and love. Today, Golbang is one of the most popular folk music ensembles in Scandinavia. They have four records and have performed on most of the largest Scandinavian music stages as well as several international ones.

Golbang is a modern and limitless folk music band with an entirely unique sound.

ROSTAM MIRLASHARI

During 2022, Rostam & Bamshad, father & son, released their first album "Rozhnak". The album invites listeners to an explosive deep dive and interaction between the traditional musical treasure of Baluchistan and the modern instrument and harmonica from the West. With this project they want to extend the Balochi music tradition and show its strong functional purpose from both a historical point of view, but most paramount, a theoretical perspective.
